Loctite Dri-Seal® Products are a Pre-Apllied, non curing, non-toxic aqueous based thread sealant with good high temperature and solvent resistance. This product has potable water approval (KTW & DVGW, Germany) and may be used in hot and cold water couplings and fittings. The coating is dry to the touch and ready for immediate use giving an instant seal.
This thread coating system seals the fitting upon assembly by occupying all available space to give a permanent high pressure seal against most common liguids and gases.
