Product Description

PATlok is a company trade name to describe a nylon patch. The patch is produced from Nylon N11 Powder. Nylon patches are the most widely used thread locking system and are suitable for a wide range of applications.

N11 Nylon patches are available in Orange, Blue, Yellow and Red. Orange is our standard colour. All colours have the same performance characteristics.

How does it work?

The PATlok is permanently applied to the threads over a rotation angle of 120°-180°. The first two or three threads are kept free of PATlok so that the bolt can be assembled easily. When the bolt connections are assembled the PATlok layer is compressed, which brings about good metal-to-metal contact in the flanks of the thread where no Patlok is present.

  • Patch Build available in Low, Medium or Heavy (infinitely variable to suit)
