PATlok Nylon Patches
How does it work?
The PATlok is permanently applied to the threads over a rotation angle of 120°-180°. The first two or three threads are kept free of PATlok so that the bolt can be assembled easily. When the bolt connections are assembled the PATlok layer is compressed, which brings about good metal-to-metal contact in the flanks of the thread where no PATlok is present.

The PATlok Nylon Patch constantly tries to return to its original volume, thus ensuring a constant frictional force across the engaged thread form. The PATlok connection does not loosen, even in the event of external shocks or vibrations. It is, however, a very simple matter to subsequently readjust the bolt connection or to reuse it.
